The Caron Residence featured a unique site with grading challenging and a tight wall of wooded area encroaching the rear of the property. A poll was being located just off the large extended driveway toward the right of the house causing a site-line challenge. To solve this I designed an evergreen screen along the driveway to continue the wooded, enclosed feel and block driveway noise and views. From there, a curvi-linear decking matching the features of the proposed pool formed the concept stretching to the back door of the property. Out the threshold of the door, an elevated patio with a block retaining wall featuring an 18" sitting wall and fire-pit was designed to maximize the usability of the space and conquer grading challenges. I proposed a Siesta Poolside Bar and Cabana to be installed with a flat screen TV and storage room in the rear of the structure. To tie in the natural, wooded concept, I proposed some boulder and some flowering under-story trees which would tie in the wooded feel. Finally, the property fence was proposed to flow into the wooded area allowing for remaining ease of access into the wood as client desired.
