Project Description:

This design is a very unique opportunity due to the slope of the property. It allowed for a retaining wall, which we constructed out of brick masonry with piers and architectural caps with a light. The landscape worked with the grade, ultimately being held at grade by boulders, creating a naturalistic approach. The free form organic walkway forms compliments the curvi-linear porch, steps and walkway with a brick soldier course border. The lighting plan creates a unique environments and is highlighted around the walkway and sitting area creating an ambient space. A 'Laceleaf' Japanese Maple anchors the design and is highlighted around a black Belgian block edged river rock bed next to the sitting area. Construction was recently completed Fall of 2018.
