This project was an opportunity for a lawn maintenance contractor with a customer looking for a master plan, deck and patio specifically. Their ultimate dreams included a pool as well and a berm with evergreen plantings to block the turnpike and help minimize noise. The design features a large patio, water tight which allows the interior to be used for storage of pool equipment and supplies, patio furniture, etc. The outdoor kitchen is built into the structural post of the deck which allows the work area to be covered by the sitting area that extends over the patio. A fire-pit is included by the pool for the aesthetic feel and soft look which is incorporated into the sitting wall. The pool includes a curvi-linear style with a waterfall and boulders. The side of the property features natural flagstone landscape steps, set in grade with beds on either side. This connects through the front beds and to the walkway of the front of the house. A full lighting package is included in the design and the berm.
